Tennessee Whitestone has a beautiful natural soft white color with veins of rust due to the presence of iron in the stone. As in all natural stone, color and textures will vary. Thickness varies from stone to stone: 2" to 4" is common. We carve the words into the stone to provide depth to each letter. Then, we hand paint each letter and add a sealant to protect the lettering against the weather extremes. We hand pick each stone to compliment your choice of words. SIZES (approximate dimensions):
Small (# 314) - 6" x 8", 7-14 lbs: Holds up to TWO lines with a maximum of 18 characters per line. Medium (#315) - 8" x 11", 16-14 lbs: Holds up to FOUR lines with a maximum of 18 characters per line.
