Locking System
The mailbox features a 1.5" H x 9.5" W incoming mail slot and a 9.5" x 10.25" locked mail retrieval door. A USA manufactured lock made from a rust proof brass alloy, with 2 keys (included). The keys are standard issue, so you can have copies made at any local locksmith should you desire to do so.

Metals Used
The Ecco E6 Locking Victorian Wall Mount Mailbox is crafted of rust free aluminum. Cast aluminum is an extremely durable, yet light-weight metal that is 100% resistant to rust. It is made by pouring aluminum into a mold of the end product. During construction, the aluminum undergoes substantial amounts of pressure, which produces an extremely dense material that will stand up to years of wear and tear.
